Marketplaces rename their menus from time to time. These are the paths our real files were downloaded from, as the menus stand today; if one has moved, tell us and we will correct it. Each file on this page is read in your browser and never uploaded to us, apart from a photographed or PDF bill you choose to have read. What fynxIQ keeps from a month is listed in the privacy policy.

The traps in Amazon filesAmazon
Merchant Tax Report: B2Cb2cReport_November_2025.zip, holding MTR_B2C-NOVEMBER-2025-<your merchant id>.csvRequired
- 1Open Seller Central, then Reports, then Tax Document Library, and its Merchant Tax Reports.
- 2Download the Merchant Tax Report for the month. Take both the B2C and the B2B file.
- 3Leave them zipped and drop both in. Which is which is worked out from the columns.
Merchant Tax Report: B2BThe B2B report on the same screen, downloaded the same way.Strongly recommendedUsed for: Table 4: sales to buyers who gave a GSTIN.Without it: Sales to registered buyers are filed as consumer sales. Your buyer never sees the credit and eventually asks you why.
GST ready-to-file reportA workbook whose tabs are named after GSTR-1 sections.Strongly recommendedUsed for: Nothing on its own: it is checked against the return built from the MTR files, figure by figure.

The traps in Flipkart filesFlipkart
Sales ReportA spreadsheet with a random name, whose tabs are Help, Sales Report and Cash Back Report.Required
- 1Open Seller Dashboard, then Reports, then Reports Centre, and choose Tax reports.
- 2Generate the Sales Report for the month. It is queued first, and the Download button can take a day or two to appear.
- 3Download the "Report for GSTR-1 and GSTR-8 Return Filing" for the same month.
- 4Drop both in. Nothing else is needed: the report states Flipkart’s own registration.
Report for GSTR-1 and GSTR-8 Return FilingA second spreadsheet, whose tabs are named "Section 5B in GSTR-1", "Section 12 in GSTR-1", "Section 3 in GSTR-8" and so on.Strongly recommendedUsed for: Flipkart's own account of the month, checked against the one built from the Sales Report. Without the Sales Report its totals are Flipkart’s part of the return.

GST report (TCS)gst_<supplier id>_11_2025.zip, holding tcs_sales.xlsx and tcs_sales_return.xlsxRequired
- 1In Supplier Panel, open Payments, choose Download at the top right, then GST Report, and pick the month. That zip holds tcs_sales and tcs_sales_return.
- 2From the same screen download the Tax Invoice zip for the same month.
- 3Drop both zips in. Without the second one, Table 13 cannot be built and fynxIQ says so.
Tax invoice detailsA second zip from the same screen, holding Tax_invoice_details.xlsxRequiredUsed for: The invoice numbers, joined to the amounts on the sub-order number.Without it: Table 13 cannot be built and no Meesho sale has a document number. fynxIQ stops rather than filing a return whose invoices are anonymous.

GSTR report: Packedpart-00012-tid-505065954956777760-....c000, a CSV whose name says nothing about what is in it.Required
- 1Open Partner Portal, then Financial Reports, then Monthly Reports, tab OTHERS.
- 2Download all three GSTR reports for the month: Packed, RT and RTO.
- 3Drop all three in at once. Which is which is worked out from the columns, not the name.
- 4The first time, state the HSN code for each of your article types. It is remembered after that.
GSTR report: RTAnother part-000NN-tid-... file, from the same screen.Strongly recommendedUsed for: The customer returns, as credit notes against the sales.Without it: Every return is filed as though the customer kept the goods.
GSTR report: RTOA third part-000NN-tid-... file.Strongly recommendedUsed for: Orders that came back undelivered, as an invoice and its reversal.Without it: The month is overstated by everything that never reached a customer.
Invoicesinvoice_prod_....zip, holding PDFs with COMMISSION and LOGISTICS in the name. Not for GSTR-1Used for: Nothing for GSTR-1. These are bills Myntra raised to YOU. The GST on them is input credit: drop the PDFs on the Purchases page, where they are read into your books and held against your GSTR-2B.
GST portal
What fynxIQ does with themThe GST portal and your books
TDS and TCS credit received (Excel, or PDF)<your GSTIN>_NOV_2025.xlsx or TDS_AND_TCS_CREDIT_RECEIVED_<your GSTIN>_112025.pdf from the portal, under Returns, then TDS and TCS credit receivedStrongly recommendedUsed for: Nothing in the return. The Excel is held against Table 14 operator by operator and state by state, and it settles which TCS registration each marketplace actually files under. The PDF carries one total and names no operator, so it checks the total alone; it is read in your browser and never sent anywhere.Without it: The return still files. What you lose is the one check that comes from the portal’s side: whether every marketplace reported what your files say, and under which registration.
GSTR-2B, as JSON or ExcelA .json file, or an Excel workbook with a sheet for each section (B2B, B2B-CDNR, ECO, ISD, IMPG), from the portal: Returns, Returns Dashboard, pick the month, GSTR-2B, Download, then Generate JSON file to download. The portal generates it on the 14th of the next month.Required for Purchases and the GSTR-3BUsed for: On Purchases, the statement every bill in your books is held against: matched, within rounding, differing, in the statement only, or in your books only, with the credit it allows by heading. On the GSTR-3B page, Table 4. Read in your browser and never sent anywhere.Without it: Nothing to hold the books against, and the GSTR-3B draft has an empty Table 4: its payable is before any credit, and it says so.
Purchase registerWhatever you keep your supplier bills in, as Excel or CSV: Tally’s Purchase Register export, Busy’s or Marg’s, or a sheet of your own with the supplier’s GSTIN, the bill number, the date and the taxable value or the tax.Recommended for PurchasesUsed for: Your side of the purchases, on the Purchases page: each bill matched to the GSTR-2B on the supplier’s GSTIN and the bill number, and the purchase vouchers Tally imports built from it. Read in your browser. Photographed or PDF bills can go in beside it or instead of it; each of those is sent through our server to Anthropic’s Claude API, or Google’s Gemini API when Claude cannot answer, to be read, once you have agreed to it, and the picture itself is not kept.Without it: The GSTR-2B has nothing to be matched with, so a bill of yours that the supplier never reported goes unnoticed, and nobody asks the supplier to file it.
The portal’s GSTR-3B, as a PDFThe PDF the portal gives for the period, draft or filed, headed Form GSTR-3B. Read from the text it carries, row by row, in your browser, never from its name.Recommended for the GSTR-3B pageUsed for: Nothing new. On the GSTR-3B page the draft built from your GSTR-1 and GSTR-2B is held against it row by row, so you see what the portal is about to file before you submit it.Without it: The draft still stands on its own documents. What you lose is the comparison with what the portal has filled in.
Amazon settlement report (Flat File V2)A tab-separated .txt named with a number, one per settlement period, from Seller Central: Payments, All Statements, Download Flat File V2 beside the period. Not the Settlement Summary PDF, which has no orders.Recommended for SettlementsUsed for: On Settlements, every line of the payout with its order: the price and its tax, each fee and the GST on it, the TCS under section 52 and the TDS under section 194-O, held against your sales report, the TCS and TDS rates, the portal’s TCS statement, your bank and, if you type it, the marketplace’s rate card; and two journals per settlement for Tally. Read in your browser.Without it: Nobody checks that what Amazon kept back adds up, that its TCS and TDS are at the rate, or that every payout reached the bank, and the fees, TCS and TDS stay out of your books.
Flipkart Settled Transactions reportAn .xlsx with a random name from Flipkart’s seller panel: Reports, Payment Reports, Settled Transactions, at most 31 days at a time. A sheet per kind of money (Orders, Storage_Recall, Ads, TCS_Recovery, TDS, GST_Details).Recommended for SettlementsUsed for: The same as Amazon’s, one settlement per NEFT id: each order’s sale and refund, the marketplace fee part by part, the GST on it by head from GST_Details, TCS and TDS, and every other sheet’s money. It is told apart from the Sales Report by what is in it, and never read as sales. Read in your browser.Without it: Flipkart’s deductions go unchecked and stay out of your books, as Amazon’s would.
Meesho payments report (published layout)An .xlsx from the Meesho supplier panel: Payments, Download, Payments to Date. Sheets Disclaimer, Order Payments, Ads Cost, Referral Payments and Compensation and Recovery; a banner row over the headings. Read from the layout public parsers of the download use, not yet from a file a seller gave us.Recommended for SettlementsUsed for: On Settlements, one payout per Transaction ID: each sub-order’s sale and return with GST in it, Meesho’s commission and other fees with the GST on them worked at 18%, TCS and TDS, and the ads cost as deductions of their own, held against your Meesho GST report, the rates, your bank and the rate card you type. Read in your browser.Without it: Meesho’s deductions go unchecked and stay out of your books, as Amazon’s would.
Myntra settled reports (published layout)Two .csv files from the Myntra partner portal: Payments, Sale Payment and Return Payment (the forward and reverse settled reports), with snake_case headings such as order_release_id and total_actual_settlement. Read from the layout of one public export, not yet from a file a seller gave us.Recommended for SettlementsUsed for: One payout per UTR, made of the payment, commission and logistics parts each order line carries for it, prepaid and postpaid, with TCS and TDS taken out of the commission part, held against your Myntra GSTR reports by packet id and against the rate card you type. Read in your browser.Without it: Myntra’s deductions go unchecked and stay out of your books, as Amazon’s would.
Form 26AS from TRACES, as text or PDF (published layout)From the e-filing portal, View Form 26AS, on TRACES: the text file (caret separated, inside a zip locked with the date of birth or incorporation as ddmmyyyy; unzip it first) or the PDF without its password. Read from TRACES’ own e-tutorial and one 2024-25 TRACES PDF, not yet from a file a seller gave us; Form 168, from tax year 2026-27, is unseen.Recommended for SettlementsUsed for: Each marketplace’s TDS under section 194-O, by the month it was credited, in place of a figure typed on Settlements, held against what the settlements deducted. Only that figure is kept; your PAN, name and address, the other deductors and every deductor’s TAN stay in your browser.Without it: Type the month’s 194-O figure from 26AS on Settlements instead, or leave it unchecked.
Bank statement, as Excel, CSV or PDF (published layouts)The statement your bank’s net banking downloads for the account: Excel or CSV for any bank, read by its headings, or the PDF without its password for SBI, HDFC, ICICI, Axis and Kotak, read from the text it carries. Read from the layouts of statements their holders published in court and other public filings and of open-source parsers, not yet from a statement a seller gave us; Kotak’s headings were seen only in real statements kept in open-source projects, not in a Kotak PDF given to us.Required for the Bank pageUsed for: On the Bank page, a Receipt, Payment or Contra voucher for Tally for every entry, against the ledger its party was placed in before, and Suspense for the rest until it is placed. The running balance is held on every entry, and against the opening and closing balances a PDF prints, before anything goes to Tally. On Settlements, the statement, as Excel, CSV or one of those five banks’ PDFs, shows whether each payout reached the bank. Read in your browser: a PDF locked with a password is not opened, and of the statement only the account’s last four digits, the closing balance its last vouchers file ran to and the entries waiting in Suspense are kept.Without it: Each bank entry goes into Tally by hand, and on Settlements nobody checks that a payout reached the bank.

The traps in Tally, Busy or Marg filesTally, Busy, Marg
GSTR-1 export in the GSTN templateOne workbook with sheets named b2b (or b2b,sez,de), b2cs, cdnr, cdnur, exp, exemp, hsn(b2b), hsn(b2c), docs and ecom. Tally names it GSTR1_Excel_Workbook_Template.One of the two
- 1For the Day Book, in TallyPrime: Display More Reports, then Day Book, for the month. Alt+E to export, and choose XML as the format.
- 2For the workbook, in TallyPrime: Display More Reports, then GST Reports, then GSTR-1. Alt+E to export, choose Excel (Spreadsheet). Busy and Marg have an equivalent GSTR-1 export in the same template.
- 3Drop the file in; the prepare screen and a firm’s upload link both take the XML. Which file it is comes from what is inside it, never from its name, and the workbook’s summary banners are skipped.
- 4Read the checks. From the workbook, amendment sheets (b2ba, b2cla, expa, cdnra, cdnura, b2csa) go into Tables 9A, 9C and 10, each held to the 30 November deadline for its financial year. Advances (at, atadj and their amendments) are recognised and not yet carried, and stop the return rather than file it short.
TallyPrime Day Book exportAn XML file from TallyPrime: Display More Reports, then Day Book, then Alt+E, with XML as the format, under whatever name you give it. Tally writes it as UTF-16; a copy saved again as UTF-8 reads too.One of the twoUsed for: The GSTR-1 from the vouchers: every sales invoice, credit note and debit note of the month, each line traced to its voucher, with every check a marketplace month gets.Without it: The workbook above does the same job. Without one of the two there is no return.
The same month’s marketplace reports, beside the workbookAmazon MTR, Meesho, Flipkart files for the month.Strongly recommendedUsed for: A second return from the orders, held against the workbook line by line.Without it: The workbook is checked against itself only.

Any sales exportWhatever the platform gives you, as CSV or Excel.Required
- 1Drop the file in. fynxIQ reads the headers and proposes a mapping.
- 2Correct anything it guessed wrong. It shows sample rows so you can see what each column holds.
- 3A field the register never repeats is typed once: the one SAC a services firm bills under, the one state a local shop sells in. A register that lists the buyer’s GSTIN needs no state column at all; the registration names the state.
- 4Save it, on the Seller plan and above, and next month the same file is recognised on sight.
fynxIQ Registerfynxiq-register.xlsx, downloaded here, one row per invoice line. One of the twoDownloadUsed for: Any sale no reader knows, copied in by you: every column is one GSTR-1 needs, with drop-downs for the kind of document, the state and the kind of supply. Dropped back, it is read in the browser by the same code that reads Amazon, with no model and no mapping.
Got the files? Drop them all at once.
No renaming, no sorting. Each is recognised from its headings.
